Delta Employees Rally to Protest Carrier Interference

Delta workers in Detroit rally in support of fair elections

Airline employees in Detroit and Minneapolis held rallies on August 5 to protest Delta’s use of an internal computer system to bombard employees with anti-union views while simultaneously prohibiting employees from speaking positively about the IAM.

A video of the Detroit rally, produced by IAM Local 141 and additional Delta election information is available at www.iam4delta.org.

“Delta has gone to court in an effort to prevent its employees from voting in fair elections and restricting what they can say and what they can read,” said Transportation General Vice President Robert Roach, Jr. “That doesn’t sound like a company that values its workers and their opinions.”
