Hi my name is Alfredo (Al) Granado. I am from Fort Worth, Texas, out of Local Lodge 776-A, District 776 and I am a Grand Lodge Representative for the IAM Organizing Department.

I was employed at Lockheed Martin In Fort Worth, Texas, and have been a member of the Machinists Union for the past twenty-one years. During my years in the union I have held different positions as Vice-President of local 776-A, Chairman of the Audit, Trustee, Journeyman and (MNPL) MACHINISTS NON- PARTISAN POLITICAL LEAGUE Committees. Vice-President of Texas State Council of Machinists Region III, and Delegate to the Tarrant County Central Labor Council.

I served two years as an Apprentice Organizer for the IAM Organizing Department.  I was elected as Precinct Chairman in Fort Worth, Texas, a position that gave me the opportunity to meet the President of The United States, Bill Clinton, and allowed me to ride in the Presidential Motorcade when he came to Fort Worth in September 1996.
