Congratulations to District 19 Members at the Gary Rail Works. This is the first negotiated amendment to an agreement to include sick days in a very long time. Also, congratulations to Heath Jacobs for another agreement with all eligible Members voting %100 in favor.
The agreement is a five-year deal with GWI guaranteed at 22%, compounded at 24%.
Health and Welfare provisions of this Agreement, including monthly employee cost-sharing shall be maintained as reflected in the 2022 National Rail Agreement, as set forth by PEB No. 250.
Full Retroactive pay within 60 days of ratification.
$2,500.00 Signing bonus within 60 days of ratification.
Effective upon ratification of this agreement active employees will receive four (4) paid sick leave days per calendar year.
