Senseless Violence Threatens the American Way of Life, Affects us All
Robert Roach, Jr., President of the Alliance for Retired Americans, released the following statement regarding the terrorism in Las Vegas last weekend:
“The members of the Alliance for Retired Americans stand with all of the community members who were hurt and killed by the terrible violence in Las Vegas this weekend. Our thoughts are with the deceased, the injured, and all of their friends and families.
“The violence in Nevada was an attack on all of us and on the American way of life. In the face of these threats, we must all continue to live our lives with freedom and dignity.
“Seniors and retirees send their deepest condolences and wishes for healing to our neighbors who were targeted in this dreadful attack. During this difficult time for our nation, we thank the seasoned first responders and medical professionals who kept this tragedy from being even more destructive.”
