IAM Partners with Charity to Provide for Mothers Abandoned or Widowed
The IAM is continuing its support of Mothers Abandoned or Widowed (MAW), a Texas-based charity that provides assistance to single mothers.

MAW is a nonprofit established to provide a range of assistance to previously married mothers with children under 18 who have been abandoned by their spouses or whose spouses have died prematurely.

“The IAM makes it mark in communities across North America not only through representing and fighting for our members, but also by caring for the most vulnerable among us,” said IAM International President Robert Martinez Jr. “We’re proud of our continuing partnership with MAW President Calvin Reynolds, whose charity helps countless women get back on their feet and care for their families.”

The IAM, a title sponsor at MAW’s 11th annual golf tournament, was represented by Martinez, IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Dora Cervantes, IAM Southern Territory General Vice President Rickey Wallace, IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Steve Galloway and other IAM staff.
