LL2003 Women’s Committee with LL2003 President Clementine Jenkins and DL75 BR Anthony Bishop
The Local Lodge 2003 Women’s Committee recently volunteered for two events to raise money for Guide Dogs of America. They assisted with the Guide Dogs of America Golf Tournament held on April 8, 2017 and the HAWGS for DAWGS Poker Run and Pancake Breakfast on May 20, 2017. The women’s committee along with district lodge 75 Business Representative Anthony Bishop, prepared and served breakfast during the poker run and donated all proceeds to Guide Dogs of America. Since the Women’s Committee was formed at LL 2003 located in Daleville, AL, they have participated in several community activities to raise awareness for different organizations including the House of Ruth. The LL 2003 Women’s Committees’ main goal is to show empowerment and to have their voices heard on topics that concern the community. Volunteering is such an important part of the organization and having the ability to give to others has such a positive impact on our union.
