District 77 H.E.L.P.S. Minnesota Veterans

IAM District 77 members recently volunteered their time to support the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), an organization that works to provide housing services to veterans and former service members who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

A group of members from IAM District 77 came together to help with outdoor projects at a transitional housing facility for homeless veterans in St. Paul, Minn.

“Together, we build stronger communities and honor those who have served. IAM District 77 members are proud to support veterans through dedicated service and community engagement,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “By lending a hand to those who served, IAM District 77 members demonstrate the true spirit of community and compassion, creating a brighter future for our veterans.”

MACV offers housing programs specifically tailored to assist veterans and former service members in finding their own housing, which will enable them to have the necessary time and confidence to focus on work, school, long-term planning, and ultimately achieving a healthy life balance.

IAM members contributed to the project by assisting in removing weeds, tidying up the area, and beautifying the premises.

The IAM H.E.L.P.S. (Honoring, Engaging, Lifting, Providing, and Servicing) Program is an IAM Midwest Territory Initiative to provide essential support to communities in need.
