On August 16, 96 individuals employed at Bradkens Engineered Products in Centralia, Washington voted to join the IAM.
“We welcome them into the IAM,” said Bob Wilson, Directing Business Representative of District Lodge W24. “Special thanks go to Will Lukens, Frank Rouse, the Growth Coordinator of District Lodge W24, ADBR Chip Elliot, as well as all individuals involved from Local Lodges 63, W130, and DLW24. This was a team effort and it would not have been possible otherwise.”
“Congratulations to the team and DBR Bob Wilson,” said Western Territory GVP Gary Allen. “This is a prime example of what it means to dedicate oneself toward growing our union through organizing. I would like to personally welcome our newest members to the IAM and I look forward to assisting them in attaining their first collective bargaining agreement.”
