Ten Democratic candidates for state and federal office have joined together to form a coalition focused on job creation and economic growth.
The EnergizeUS Coalition promises to bring a green jobs agenda to Washington and their respective state legislatures in hopes of rebuilding America and getting people back to work.
“EnergizeUS is the kick in the pants Congress needs,” says coalition member and Chairman of the House Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ). “We have to start thinking bigger about the relationships between jobs, energy, conservation and urban planning. A green jobs agenda is exactly what this country needs to stay competitive in the world economy, and EnergizeUS is committed to making sure Congress takes that need as seriously as it should.”
