Federal Employee Basic Class Deadline Extended to January 9

The deadline for the Federal Employees’ Basic Program to be held February 8-13, 2015 at the William W. Winpisinger (WWW) Education and Technology Center, in Hollywood, MD, has been extended to January 9.

The Federal Employees’ Basic Program provides training specific to federal sector workers in areas such as collective bargaining, the Hatch Act and legislative action, prohibited personnel practices, grievance handling, arbitration and an overview of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA).

The program is helpful to stewards, officers and business representatives who service members in the federal sector.
