Florida Auto Techs Continue to Stand United

On December 16, 2008 thirty-five committed Auto Techs voted to join IAM District 166 in Cocoa Beach, FL. Four years and more than 50 Unfair Labor Practices (ULP) complaints later, Auto Nation Mercedes Benz of Orlando finally sat down at the bargaining table on April 19, 2012.
“We are extremely proud of these Techs who never wavered as Auto Nation continued to violate their rights,” said Southern Territory GVP Bob Martinez. “The Southern Territory, along with representatives of District 166 and the IAM Automotive Department, remain 100 percent committed to getting these technicians the contract they deserve.”
