GDA Hosting Online Auction through June 5

The 2013 Guide Dogs of America (GDA) Online Silent Auction is now open. The event will run to June 5, 2013.
The Online Silent Auction is the companion to the GDA Open House Silent Auction which takes place during the annual Guide Dogs of America celebration in Sylmar, CA, on June 8. Most of the online items, along with many more, will also be up for bid at the Open House.
“We have put some exciting travel and sports packages up for bid online,” said GDA President Dale Hartford. “This will give our supporters from across the country an opportunity to participate.”
Items up for bid include tickets to the Hollywood Bowl summer finale, primo Dodger tickets and the very special gift of sponsoring a newborn puppy. There are over 200 bidding opportunities ranging from entertainment, travel, and sports packages to merchandise for men, women, children and, of course, pets.
“Give a little and get a lot in return,” said Hartford. “Whether you place one bid or bid on every item, your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. Through your generosity, you help provide mobility and independence to visually-impaired men and women from across the United States and Canada.”
