Georgia Gubernatorial Candidate Mark Taylor On the Issues:

Education:
• Mark Taylor says that education will be one of his top priorities as Governor. He was a leading proponent of the HOPE college scholarship program, which has impacted more than 900,000 students and their families.
• Taylor also believes early education is critical to every child’s future. He helped lead the effort to create Georgia’s Pre-K program –a program that’s now served more than 700,000 students since it started in 1993.

Medicaid/Medicare:
• Mark Taylor has a plan called Georgia Rx, which he says will dramatically lower prescription drug costs for every Georgian who participates by using the power of Georgia’s government combined with the marketing potential of all uninsured Georgians to negotiate discounted prices for prescription drugs with manufacturers.

Health insurance:
• Mark Taylor says keeping Georgia families and their kids healthy has always been his passion. He believes strongly in PeachCare for Kids, which has provided 230,000 previously uninsured children of working adults in every part of Georgia have health insurance.
