GST Roach Names Key Membership Department Staff

Effective June 1, 2012, IAM Assistant Director of Membership Services Kathy Delio will become Director of the newly-formed IAM Membership Services Department. The department currently exists as part of the IAM Information Systems Department. IT Specialist Cathy Russell will succeed Delio as Assistant Director.

“The Membership Services staff provide critical services to our district and local lodges. By making it a new Department, we will be able to deliver those important services faster and better,” said IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Robert Roach, Jr. “Kathy Delio and Cathy Russell will bring years of experience to lead the new Membership Services Department. Their dedication and skill will benefit our union and our members.”
A 27-year IAM member, Delio will coordinate the collection of local lodge monthly reports, the handling of membership inquiries, the preparation of strike benefits, the maintenance of the IAM Roster and mailing list, and the issuance of veteran badges. Russell, a 33-year IAM member, will assist Delio in those efforts.
“We think it’s very exciting to be recognized as our own department,” said Delio. “We’re honored to work with GST Roach in this new capacity and provide quality services to keep our union strong.”
