The ease of not having to use cash or slide a credit card at the end of a ride is one reason ride-sharing apps like Uber are popular. Many riders don’t realize that tips are not included in their fare and Uber makes the problem worse when it misleads riders by telling them tips are not expected.
Riders who appreciate a safe and friendly ride would like to thank their drivers. Let Uber know you want an easy option to let your driver know they are appreciated.
