The IAM Air Transport Territory proudly announces its updated New Hire Orientation Program, now available for new IAM members in the air transport industry.

“The success of our new hire orientation program, launched in 2022, has been exciting to see,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen. “It’s vital for our new members to gain a clear and consistent understanding of the importance and benefits of being an IAM member.”
The program, developed in early 2022 at the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Maryland, was created by about 40 transportation members.

“We joined together to create a universal new hire program that will educate new members about our rich history and the fantastic benefits of being an IAM member,” said IAM Air Transport Territory Chief of Staff Edison Fraser. “The initial program was created and through revisions from our office and the Communications Department, we were able to develop a presentation that includes videos from leadership introducing themselves to the new hires.”
