IAM, Delta Meeting Scheduled
May 13, 2010
In response to requests from the IAM, Delta Airlines has agreed to a meeting to discuss issues about the IAM campaign to bring union representation to Delta workers.
Among the issues slated for discussion are: an update on Delta’s steps to become a single carrier for representational purposes; gaining equal access to Delta employees and responding to Delta’s allegations that the IAM has been harassing Delta employees at their homes.
The meeting is set for June 2, 2010 in Washington, D.C. The last such meeting between the IAM and Delta was followed by the IAM filing applications for representation of three classifications.
