Education is always important for IAM members, and recently, IAM District 141 Assistant General Chair Tony Gibson, Special Representative Jen Jolly, and District 141 Education Director Mac McGovern worked diligently to host the Remote Reservation Agents Summit at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center.
The first-time summit education program for the 28 members was a resounding success, providing valuable tools and information to help them overcome the challenges of remote work.
“A lot of us have not met before,” said IAM Local 141 Jill Hazamy. “Using Teams or Skype or we try Zoom calls to be able to communicate, and it’s a unique challenge to get us together.”
The success of the program has sparked discussions about future summits, inspiring confidence in their potential.
