IAM Union International President Brian Bryant recently joined The Solidarity Effect podcast hosted by IAM Midwest Territory International Representative Kevin Murch for a conversation about the challenges facing working families, the importance of union representation, and the IAM’s efforts to build a stronger future for workers.
Bryant spoke about the IAM’s nationwide Workers vs. Billionaires campaign, which highlights economic inequality, rising costs, and the need for elected officials who prioritize working families.
“The billionaires have got plenty of representation in Washington, D.C., and the workers don’t have enough of that,” said Bryant.
Bryant also discussed the growing impact of artificial intelligence and automation, stressing the IAM’s commitment to negotiating contract protections that safeguard members’ jobs as technology evolves
