The inauguration of Barack Obama and Joe Biden was rightly given wall-to-wall media coverage around the world, but each one of the nearly one million spectators who filled the National Mall had their own story to tell and their own reason for being there.
Among the IAM members in Washington, D.C., for the historic occasion was District 4 Directing Business Representative Joe Flanders, who traveled from Maine with his family to celebrate the inauguration of the President and Vice President he helped elect.
