More than 30 IAM members from IAM Districts 75 and 73 participated in the Airbus 5K on the Runway at Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, AL on Saturday. It’s the third year in a row IAM members have attended the event, which is hosted by the Mobile Airport Authority.

“Our members came out today and displayed that being an IAM member is about so much more than just a good job,” said IAM Organizer Steven Avila, who coordinated the IAM’s participation in the event. “It’s also doing everything we can to lift up the communities that we work and live in.”

The IAM, which represents some 6,000 members in the surrounding area, has been working very closely with the likes of the United Way, Penelope House, Ronald McDonald House and others in the Mobile community.
