The IAM is excited to announce that Maria Cordone, retired Director of the Retirees, Community and Membership Services Department, has been re-elected as the Executive Vice Chair to the National Democratic Committee – Seniors Coordinating Council (DNC-SCC).
Cordone will serve a four-year term and is very excited about this endeavor. She has worked very hard in maintaining a voice for seniors in the Democratic Party and assuring that seniors’ issues are being addressed.
“The Retirees, Community and Membership Services Department and the entire Machinists Union is very proud to have Maria Cordone representing seniors in her newly-elected position,” said current Director Charles Micallef. “We appreciate all her hard work and effort.”
