IAM Salutes Aviation High School Graduates

IAM representatives traveled to Aviation High School in New York City to congratulate the class of 2010 and to present toolboxes to several graduates who excelled in the school’s unique aviation program.
The IAM began its partnership with Aviation High School in 2002, mentoring students and encouraging their choice of a career in the aviation transportation industry, despite the sector’s seemingly endless turbulence. Each year, high-achieving students from the school are invited to the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center for the Transportation Department’s annual 3-day program about the realities of working in the air transportation industry.
