The 2015 Southern Territory Staff Conference in Bay St. Louis, MS wrapped up last week with a look back at a successful 2014 in organizing, and a new commitment for 2015.
“This conference was about providing our Southern Territory Districts and Locals with new tools to increase our organizing,” said Southern Territory General Vice President Mark Blondin. “We are increasing our commitment to social media and new technologies across the territory.”
“The Southern Territory organized nearly 2,500 new members last year, and we have pledged to beat that number in 2015,” said Blondin.
During the conference, General Vice President Diane Babineaux honored the veterans in attendance with an IAM Veteran’s pin.
