The IAM recognizes and values the contributions of our younger workers and is excited to host the Young Workers Strategy Program September 22-27, 2019 at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, MD. Deadline to register for the class is July 26, 2019.

The millennial generation now represents the largest population in the workforce today, having the numbers to influence public policy, change social norms and determine the future of unions. The IAM understands there is much to be learned from the next generation and they must be included in the decision making process.
The Young Workers Strategy Program will include sessions on the importance of young men and women in labor and the workplace, growing the union through involvement and preparing leadership pathways for the future of the labor movement.
