Recently, at the IAM Unity and Growth Conference in San Diego, nearly 185 IAM members gathered to raise money for the 2024 Grand Lodge Convention in New York City. The Pennsylvania State Council of Machinists, headed by the legendary Obie O’Brien, inspired the charity night of playing “left, right, center.” IAM Eastern Territory General Vice President David Sullivan presented a plaque to O’Brien commemorating the first annual IAM-wide “left, right, center” fundraising competition.
