The IAM Wood, Pulp, and Paper Council Conference recently took place in Eugene, Ore. Delegates and guests attended the three-day conference to discuss issues about this important sector of the union. Several officers, delegates, and staff members gave presentations and speeches pertaining to the wood industry, IAM benefits, and resources the Grand Lodge can offer to help the membership. A highlight of the conference was that the attendees were also able to tour a nearby lumber mill and see how fresh-cut trees are made into commercial lumber.
