IAM International President Bryant Adjourns the 41st IAM Grand Lodge Convention

“Thank you for lending your voice to build the future of our great union,” said IAM International President Brian Bryant in his closing remarks to the 41st IAM Grand Lodge Convention. “Thank you for representing your membership back home with pride and passion.”

Bryant thanked the host territory — the IAM Eastern Territory, all IAM staff, and every delegate for their hard work making the Convention possible, and he recapped all that was achieved at the 41st Convention.

“We committed to inclusiveness in our brand, our identity our words and our actions,” said President Bryant. “We committed to mentoring future leaders and welcoming new members into our union family.”

“And we endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to be the next president and vice president of the United States and send champions for our union and all working people to the White House,” said Bryant.

The delegation applauded Bryant and the entire Executive Council in a standing ovation for their leadership during the Convention and every day as the union’s revered leaders.

Bryant expressed his deep pride and gratitude to the membership for their solidarity and participation in voting on resolutions and reports that will shape the union’s work for the next four years.

He dropped the gavel for the final time this week and brought the 41st IAM Grand Lodge Convention to a close.

“We are ready right now to unite, fight and win for every member, family and community!” said Bryant.
