IAM legislative action is vitally essential for our union and membership. The delegates and officers of the Kansas State Council of Machinists, the state’s political action arm of the IAM, met last week in Topeka. The 30 delegates and officers came to hear reports and discuss important worker-related issues with Kansas Machinist members. The Council was honored to have IAM International President Brian Bryant and IAM Southern Territory General Vice President Craig Martin, along with several department heads, join to participate in the council meeting and join over 200 various union members at the Kansas AFL-CIO lobby day at the state capitol.
