Members of the IAM Negotiating Committee meet with Philippine Airline representatives in San Francisco to sign the newly ratified agreement.

IAM District 141 members at Philippine Airlines unanimously voted this week to ratify an agreement with the carrier. The contract creates wage increases for the Passenger Service, Office and Clerical workers at Philippine Airlines through 2019, and retro payments back to July 2016.

Other highlights of the new agreement include a signing bonus for all members, an increase in pension and no increase in medical premiums, adding additional value to the contract.

“I congratulate District 141 President Mike Klemm and his negotiating team on reaching an agreement with Philippine Airlines that will not only benefit our members now, but also lays the foundation for future successful contracts,” said IAM Transportation General Vice President Sito Pantoja.
