Building on the momentum of the inaugural IAM Educators’ Conference, held in March 2023 at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland, we are offering quarterly opportunities throughout the year for IAM members to attend virtual Education Circles. These were developed to continue our work advancing and strengthening the IAM’s long commitment to building power through member education and training.
The first round of Education Circle of 2024 will be held mid-March with three scheduled time slots to choose from. Participants will discuss any training conference attendees have been doing since the convention, developing and implementing best practices, and handling any hurdles encountered while doing so. Each session will last no longer than one (1) hour. All sessions are Eastern Standard Time. Please register for the session you wish to attend:
Tuesday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m.
The Education Circles are open to all Conference attendees as well as Local and District Lodge educators, and member-activists looking to contribute to the education of our membership.
