Longtime union benefits administrator Yolanda D. Montgomery has been named the new Executive Director of the IAM National Benefit Funds Office, covering the IAM National Pension Fund, the National Benefit Trust Fund, and the IAM National 401(k) Fund. Yolanda is also an arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association, as well as a passionate advocate for workers’ rights and a seasoned financial expert.
Yolanda brings with her an extensive career in benefits administration and compliance, including her most recent leadership experience with SEIU Benefit Funds as Assistant Executive Director and Counsel. Yolanda is highly regarded as an expert in ERISA, labor, and employment matters, frequently lecturing and training on these topics throughout the country.
Yolanda is a seasoned mediator and arbitrator of employment cases with the American Arbitration Association and serves on various associations and committees in the Washington metropolitan area. Yolanda received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University, a J.D. from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and an LL.M. in taxation from Temple University’s James Beasley School of Law.
