Join National Call-in Day Oct 4 to Stop Flawed Trade Deals

Join the nationwide call-in day to Congress to stop the biggest package of trade deals since the disastrous North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The U.S. House of Representatives is considering three dangerous Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with South Korea, Colombia and Panama. The Korean deal alone is estimated to cost 159,000 U.S. jobs, mostly in manufacturing.

The AFL-CIO is sponsoring a toll-free number, 1-800-718-1008, that will be activated on October 4 to allow activists nationwide to call their Representative in Congress. There will also be activities in Washington DC including in-person lobbying.
