The deadline to register for the IAM’s Communicator class is fast approaching. Registration forms must be received by the Communications Department no later than September 30, 2016.
The class will be held December 4-9, 2016 at the IAM’s Winpisinger Education Center in Hollywood, MD.
The IAM’s Communicator Class is a basic course geared toward giving Lodge Communicators the skills they need to adequately inform their membership. Instruction will be provided in news writing, internet research, desktop publishing and social media practices. Because the course is designed for the entry-level Communicator, priority will be given to participants who have not attended previous Communications Department courses at the Winpisinger Center.
