Terry Melvin is one year into his new presidency at the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). He’s only the second president in the labor organization’s 41-year history. Melvin is getting chapters ready for the 2014 elections and pledges to continue CBTU’s tradition of community involvement.
