IAMAW Retiree Coordinator Diane Fleming spoke at two Capitol Hill news conferences within one week to denounce Paul Ryan’s budget. Fleming retired from United Airlines after 39 years and is a Medicare beneficiary, along with her 92-year old mother. She spoke at a news conference hosted by House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi March 20 and at a separate media event organized by the Congressional Progressive Caucus the previous week.
