On Monday, March 28, leadership from the IAM Transportation Department traveled to Southwest Airlines headquarters in Dallas to meet with Shop Stewards who represent thousands of Customer Service, Reservations and SOS agents. While there the IAM leadership announced that a tentative agreement had been reached. The landmark tentative deal guarantees a significant boost in pay, addresses quality of life issues and places money upfront in employees’ pockets.
