Illinois Governor Pat Quinn visited the picket line outside Caterpillar’s Joliet plant August 10, to show support for striking IAMAW members from Local 851. He presented the Local with a check for $10,000 to help with the strike fund. Earlier in the week, Senator Dick Durbin stopped by. Members are receiving support from all over the world.
