The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) held its 20th National Convention in Downtown Houston, TX with the theme “Union & Diversity: Expanding Our Political Power.” IAMAW General Vice President Dora Cervantes was honored with a Women’s Leadership Award for her efforts to empower Latinos and serve the labor movement.
