Local 193 member Cheryl “Cherrie” Fearns, who has helped feed tens of thousands of fellow IAM members attending classes at the William W. Winpisinger Education & Technology Center in Hollywood, MD, has decided to retire.
“Anyone who has had a meal at the Winpisinger Center can tell you about the great food and kind, friendly service,” said General Secretary-Treasurer Warren Mart. “Cheryl is one of the reasons for that. She has served thousands of members over the years, and we salute her for her loyal and dedicated service.”
Fearns, who has been with the Winpisinger Center nearly 20 years, will retire this November.
