The Guide Dogs of America will be holding their 33rd annual William W. Winpisinger Charity Banquet on Nov. 23, 2013, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The fundraiser will commemorate the 65th anniversary of the charity organization which, through a partnership with the IAM, provides guide dogs to thousands of people free of charge.
Past years have included events such as a golf tournament, motorcycle ride and skeet and trap shooting. There’s always ample opportunity to meet guide dog graduates, puppy raisers and puppies-in-training.
“We are always thrilled to help the Guide Dogs of America in any way we can,” said IAM International President Tom Buffenbarger. “Providing a higher quality of life for so many people through the addition of a guide dog is something truly special to be a part of.”
