The National Federation of Federal Employees (NFFE-IAM) recently held an important Representation and Collective Bargaining Training Program for members who work in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
These 30 dedicated hardworking union members from all over the United States gathered to hear and discuss issues they face on a daily basis. A big objective was to put strategies and ideas on the floor for when they meet with government representatives.
The group also heard from various NFFE and IAM officials during the weeklong class and were able to ask clarifying questions to the information they were being given. NFFE-IAM member Jake Panell gives his comments in this education report.
