The 2013 AFL-CIO Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday Observance will take place January 17-21 in Philadelphia, PA and will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historic 1963 March on Washington. The Observance will also coincide with the inauguration of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden in Washington, D.C., on January 21, 2013.
A reduced hotel rate of $109 plus 15.2 percent tax per night has been negotiated at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel, 201 North 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA. The conference registration fee is $180 until December 17, 2012, with later registration at $200 from December 18, 2012 through January 2. 2013.
