The 2012 IAM Legislative Conference is set for May 14-17, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C. You can reserve rooms by calling the Hyatt Regency directly at 202-737-1234. The cut-off date for special room rates is April 5, 2012.
Legislative Conference delegates can register on Monday, May 14, between 9:00am and 12:30pm, or Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00am.
The Conference will begin Monday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m., with opening remarks by Headquarters General Vice President and Conference Chair Rich Michalski. IAM President Tom Buffenbarger will deliver the keynote address.
The general session will be held from 9:00am until 12 noon on Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16. There will be no afternoon sessions those days to allow delegates time to lobby on Capitol Hill.
