Continuing a tradition of making the resources of the William Winpisinger Center available to our increasingly diverse membership, the IAM will conduct simultaneous Human Rights and Women’s programs on February 24-March 1, 2013 and August 25-30, 2013.
Members can register for either one of the two programs, which will include several joint sessions throughout the week. These two programs are structured to provide practical information and guidance on how local and district lodges can establish viable Human Rights and Women’s committees and ensure they operate proactively. The curriculum for these programs was also designed to provide a greater understanding of human rights issues and to promote invaluable discussion among the participants. “These two programs reflect our recognition of the issues that matter to our members as well as our commitment to provide the full range of services and support.” said IAM President Tom Buffenbarger. “I encourage all lodges to participate in the Human Rights and Women’s Programs at the Winpisinger Center.”
