The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) will hold their Leadership Development and Educational Conference on August 4-6, 2011 at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The theme of the conference revolves around the “We Are One/Somos Uno” campaign, with a focus on the collaborative work that labor and the Latino community must do to place working families at the center of the nation’s agenda.
The IAM is very supportive of LCLAA. General Vice Presidents Gary Allen and Bob Martinez serve as LCLAA Vice Presidents; Grand Lodge Representative Dora Cervantes and Assistant Director of Legislative and Political Action Rick De la Fuente sit on their National Executive Board.
