The 70th Metal Trades AFL-CIO Convention will be held October 5-6, 2016 at Bally’s Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas. IAM Metal Trades members will also meet October 4 to discuss issues at the council level, changes to the Metal Trades Constitution and the impact of those changes. IAM Metal Trades Members should make every effort to attend.
You can register for the convention online at metaltrades.org/events or download a paper registration form, also available on the website, and mail the form and payment to the Metal Trades Department. Cost of registration for delegates and guests is $375.
Hotel reservations for the convention are to be made with Bally’s Hotel. Click here or contact the hotel at 800-358-8777 and give the group code SBMTD06 to receive the room rate of $130 per night, plus a $25 tax and resort fee, no later than Tuesday, August 23, 2016. After this date, rooms will be subject to hotel availability and prevailing rates.
