The 2013 IAM Legislative Conference is set for May 13-16 at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC. You can reserve rooms by calling the Hyatt Regency directly at 202-737-1234. The cut-off date for special room rates is April 8.
Legislative Conference delegates can register on Monday, May 13, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or Tuesday, May 14 from 8 to 9 a.m.
The Conference will begin Monday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m., with opening remarks by Headquarters General Vice President and Conference Chair Rich Michalski. IAM President Tom Buffenbarger will deliver the keynote address.
The general session will be held from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15. There will be no afternoon sessions those days to allow delegates time to lobby on Capitol Hill.
