Support Striking Belshaw Adamatic Workers

It’s day 95 on the picket line for members of IAM Local Lodge 79 on strike against Belshaw Adamatic, an international bakery equipment maker based in Auburn, WA.

The 60 members traded their tools for picket signs when the company refused to pass health care costs savings – proposed by the local – back down to employees, demanded huge concessions on pensions, and attempted to keep replacement workers on the job.

Dozens have pledged their solidarity with IAM Local 79 members by sending a message to Belshaw and related companies to stop the unfair treatment of workers and negotiate a fair settlement. Click here to show your support.

The world’s largest global union federation IndustriALL has also joined the fight by creating a message of solidarity to the strikers. Click here to sign on.

IAM members are also urged to “like” the “IAM Local 79 on Strike at Belshaw Adamatic Bakery Group” Facebook page.
