IAM District 9, Local 660 in East Alton, IL was successful in winning an arbitration case at Global Brass that resulted in Jacob Harmon being made whole for all losses including $50,233.60 in back pay.
Harmon was terminated by the company approximately a year ago and the union filed a grievance arguing that the company did not have just cause for the termination.
Jacob works in the utility classification at the casting plant.
Upon his return to work recently, Jacob Harmon expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of all those involved in the case including the District 9 staff and Local Lodge 660 leadership.
